Iguazu park comes from 1934.. It was founded to preserve Iguazu Falls and the biodiversity in the area. It has 67.000 hectares and lies 17km from Iguazu Puerto city.

In 1934 it was named Humanity Patrimony by the UNESCO.

This aim of this park is to protect the Falls and its natural surroundings, respecting its natural origin from the jungle.

National Iguazu Park is formed by the Misionera Jungle, one of the most biodiversity natural regions of Argentina Republic- Out of Argentina frontiers it is called Paranaense Jungle.

The Park is known worldwide by its beauty and to possess one of the most imposing attractions all over the world: Iguazu Falls.
