Iguazu Falls are the main tourist attraction in Misiones province. It is a geologic fail of 275 springs of about 80metres height and an extension of 2,700metres which let 1,500m3 of water pass each second.

The constant waterfall forms a thick mist in this area which mixed with the sun rays produces a lot of rainbows.

The falls are fed by the large Iguazu River into Iguazu National Park.

Iguazu means, “Y” means Water, Guazu (to be read Guadsú) means “big”, in Guaraní.

The 70% of the falls are in Argentina territory and the 30% left in Brazil territory.

Iguazu Argentina are considered one of the natural wonder of the world. They are even bigger than Niagara Falls located in North America and they compete in size with Victoria Falls in Zambezi river in South Africa.
